Conclusion

To think that what you just read is mere coincidence takes more faith to believe than to simply recognize that God had foreseen these events long ago and chose to share them with us through the Bible. Prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes, and many do not seem to notice or care. But Jesus predicted even this apathy when He said that He will come when He is not expected (Matthew 24:44). That is why Jesus tells us to watch for His coming (Matthew 24:42) so that we are not taken by surprise.

The Bible says there will be people who mock those who believe we’re living in the last days (2 Peter 3:3-4). Jesus said that in the last days, it will be like the days of Noah (Matthew 24:36-39). There was rampant sin in Noah’s day as there is today. And, just as those living in Noah’s day scoffed at Noah for listening to God’s warnings and building an ark that would later save his and his family’s lives from the flood that killed everyone else, so it is now that people scoff at those who believe the Bible’s warnings about God’s impending judgment on the world. Just as the flood that came in Noah's day was sudden, so will God's soon judgment be sudden.

The Rapture and Christ’s return are not only coming soon, but they are coming very soon! Those who are saved do not have reason to fear, but those who are not do. Although you can wait until the tribulation to get saved (assuming you don’t die before then – after all, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed), life will be very difficult for you as the Antichrist will seek to kill Christians (Revelation 20:4).
